Mark Arvid Hopkins A memorial service for Mark Arvid Hopkins, 53, of Cumming, will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Washington. He died Saturday, March 29, at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Mr. Hopkins was a native of Washington and had lived in the Cumming area for the past eight years. He was the son of Martha Jarrell Hopkins of Summerville, S.C., and the late Egbert Hopkins. Survivors in addition to his mother include his children, Justin and Jenna Hopkins of Douglasville; a sister, Judy Jacobs of Summerville, S.C.; and four brothers, Benjamin Hopkins of Langhome, Penn., Scott Hopkins of Houston, Texas, Bob Hopkins of Woodstock, and Jon Benson Hopkins of Chicago, Ill.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
