Katie Grant feted by sorority sisters at monogram shower

Katie Grant, bride-elect of Ryan Warren of Stephenville, Tex., was guest of honor at a monogram shower on Sunday, April 6, given by her sorority sisters, Amy Rogers of Duluth, Erin Sattler of Enterprise, Ala., Victoria Jones of Locust Grove, and Ashley Wilson of Lawrenceville at the Rogers home.

For the occasion the bride-elect wore a white cotton sundress with blue and teal print designs. She was presented a bouquet of salmon tulips.

A blue color scheme used in decorating was complemented with blue and white accessories and lighted votives.

As guests arrived, they registered in the guest book that featured delicate blue and green leaf designs. This design was duplicated on the beautiful and delicious cake served with other pastries, chips, chips, crackers and sherbet punch.

Mrs. Rogers' mother, Barbara Wilbanks of Lawrenceville, assisted in entertaining.

The hostesses presented the brideelect a basket of monogrammed towels and bath accessories.

Forty Alpha Gamma Delta sorority sisters were invited. Among the special guests attending was the bride-elect's mother, Melissa Grant of Washington.
