Ava Wright enjoys Winnie-the-Pooh birthday party

Ava Wright, daughter of Paul and Hannah Wright of Rayle, celebrated her second birthday on March 7.

She was treated to a Winniethe Pooh party at her home the following day.

Ava's Winniethe Pooh sheet cake was topped with Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger. She also had a smaller round cake just for her that was decorated with confetti icing and topped with a Winnie-the-Pooh "2". With cake all enjoyed both teddy bear-shaped peanut butter and jelly and pimento cheese sandwiches, M&M's, Teddy Graham cookies and juice boxes.

Winnie-the-Pooh goody bags were given as favors.

Celebrating with Ava and her parents were her grandparents, Robert and Judy Wright and Tim and Gail Stewart; great-grandparents, Kathryn Shedd and Harrison Stewart; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Alyssa Stewart, Tina McLeroy and Erin, Marilyn Wright and Brianna of Washington, great-uncle and aunt, and cousins, Rodney and Betsy Shedd, Mil, Matt and Morgan, all of Washington-Wilkes; and, cousins, Cody Paul and Ashton Allen, great-aunt, Angie Paul, and Chad Williams, all of Lexington.
