Rebecca Pope Graveside services for Rebecca (Becky) Pope, 50, of Decatur were held Monday, April 14, 2008, at City West Cemetery with Rev. G.L. Avery officiating. She died Thursday, April 10, in Atlanta. Miss Pope was a native of Wilkes County and the daughter of the late Ollie and Lexie Pope. She joined the Young's Chapel Baptist Church and was employed by the Trinity Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years. Survivors include her siblings, Maudie Ann Pope of Naples, Fla., Ollie Pope Jr., Atlanta, John Pope and William M. Pope of Washington, Dale Phelps of Lithonia, and Jacqueline P. Crew of Washington.
Davenport-McLendon Mortuary Inc., was in charge of arrangements.
