April Smith honors her bridal attendants at brunch April 13

April Smith, bride-elect of Jonathan Wheatley, honored her attendants at a bridesmaids' brunch on Sunday, April 13, at the Wheatley home in Metasville.

The bride-elect's mother, Tanya Smith, was also a hostess for the occasion.

A garden theme was chosen in decorating. Watering cans filled with Burgundy Gerber daisies and yellow and purple blooms served as centerpieces with white dogwood blooms scattered throughout. The tables were covered in silk tablecloths with tan floral runners.

A delicious brunch was served and included sausage quiche, cheddar pepper biscuits and fruit. Guests also enjoyed a honey bun cake and banana bread, both baked by Carolyn Smith, grandmother of the bride-elect.

During the occasion Miss Smith presented her bridesmaids with earrings for the wedding day. Each bridesmaid also received a keepsake framed photo of themselves with the bride-elect.

Joining Miss Smith and her mother were Anna Smith, Jill Rogers, Alicia Clemmons, Andie Bridges, Carolyn Smith, Sara Jackson, Elaine Wheatley and Terrie Smith, all of Washington.
