Tiger Club golf tournament set for Country Club May 1

The annual Tiger Club golf tournament is barely more than two weeks away and the entry deadline is barely more than a week away. Golfer interested in participating in the classic should hurry to sign up at the Washington-Wilkes Country Club pro shop or by calling Rob Jackson (706-678-3605) or the W-WCHS athletic officeat 706-678-7413.

The tournament is set for May 3 beginning at 1 p.m. with a Calcutta the night before beginning at 7 o'clock at the W-W Country Club.

The first 54 paid players will constitute a full field and the tournament will consist of three-man teams with players designated A, B, and C. String and Mulligans will be available the day of the tournament and the payouts will be determined by the field size and the Calcutta.

The entry fee for the tournament is $50.00 per player.
