India Callaway celebrates birthday with family, friends
On her birthd ay India's mother and father treated her third grade class at Briarwood Academy to a lunch party with cheese and pepperoni pizzas, Cheese Puffs, cupcakes and soft drinks. That evening, India and her father, whose birthday was March 20, were treated to a birthday dinner at the home of her paternal grandmother, Avola Callaway, where they were served shrimp grits, carrots, salad and homemade yeast rolls.Guests included Fannie Mae Mahoney of Rayle, and cousins, Faris Cuff and her son, Brian, of Lewisburg, Tenn. On Friday, March 28, India celebrated with a spend-the-night party and a visit by Joann Baldwin and son, Joseph, and on Saturday with a trip to North Point Mall in Alpharetta for an American Girl Doll Fashion party at the Boutique and Bistro. After lunch in the food courts and a ride on the mall's merry-go-round, guests participated in American Girl-themed games and then created a doll outfit.They were served a birthday supper of fruit skewers with yogurt dip, cheese pizza, pink lemonade and birthday cake.
Celebrating this occasion with India and her parents were her sister, Grace; Mary Katherine Dyson and Maci, and Alli Bennett of Washington; Shelly Smith of Tignall, Kaylie Cato, Jolane Mosley, and Bryanna Jenkins of Thomson.
