This Saturday, April 26, the On Mission Celebration will begin. The Mission Fair will be held at the First Baptist Church, Washington, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All churches in our Georgia Baptist Association are invited to attend and meet the visiting missionaries. Lunch will be served and there will be activities for all ages. Rev. Perryman and Lauree Shelton have worked hard planning this event. Your support will be appreciated. ƒOn Sunday, some of the missionaries will speak at churches in our Association. The speaker at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church will be Lynn Davis from the North American Mission Board. ƒThe Georgia Baptist Association Spring Inspirational Meeting will be held at the Danburg Baptist Church next Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. This is an opportunity for people who care to hear about the works of our Association and also at this meeting two of the visiting missionaries will speak. ƒWe were glad to have our Director of Missions Rev. Andy Perryman at prayer meeting at Clifford's Grove Wednesday night. ƒTad Hopkins has been transferred to Augusta from his job in Jacksonville, Fla., where he has been for several years. He is presently staying with his mother, Iris Dyson, and commuting to Augusta every day. He and Marsha will be moving to Augusta this summer. ƒJohn Hopkins of Athens visited his dad, Tad Hopkins, and his grandmother, Saturday afternoon.

ƒMr. and Mrs. Edward Branham of McCaysville visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Wednesday. ƒJames Sherrer attended services at Raytown Baptist Church Sunday. There was a large attendance for Sunday School and worship service. Everyone was invited to stay for lunch. A barbecue and other delicious food was served and enjoyed by all.
