Jessica Eason entertained at bridal shower on April 19

Jessica Eason, bride-elect of Brett Northenor of Macon, was entertained at a miscellaneous shower Saturday morning, April 19, at the home of Nancy and Danny Barnett on Sims Street.

Hostesses for the occasion with Mrs. Barnett were Trudie Gallo of Grovetown; Rebecca Deweese of Athens; Anna Heaton of Moulton, Ala.; Evelyn George, Judy Coxwell, Angela McGill, Susan Pope, Ann Tiller, Rebecca Pollock, Erin Pollock and Carol Bailey of Washington.

Miss Eason was lovely in a black sundress finished along the hemline in white embroidery. She was presented a corsage of white daisies.

White balloons on the mailbox marked the location of the party and as guests entered the home they registered in a book on an antique table decorated with a ceramic vase of miniature fuchsia gerbera daisies. Also on the table was an album of pictures of the couple.

Miss Eason greeted her guests in the den.

The hostesses invited guests into the dining room where the table, overlaid in a soft tone-on-tone ecru and wheat faille cloth, held a stunning round glass bowl of white tulips, white snow balls and exotic greens. From this table guests en- joyed sausage balls, fresh fruits, cream cheese crescents, miniature quiche, skewers of bacon-wrapped Lil' Smokies, open-face tomato and cucumber sandwiches and cheese ball with ginger snaps and crackers. The bar, cornered with a white Battenburg lace cloth, featured a cutglass punch bowl accented with an ice ring of green and red grapes.

The hostesses presented the brideelect an Arthur Court Fleur de Lis tray which was displayed with her other gifts in the breakfast room at tables, one covered in an beige lace-edged cloth and the other in a stenciled cloth that had belonged to Mrs. Barnett's grandmother and that Mrs. Barnett had crossstitched as a young teen.

Sixty-two guests were invited. Special guests attending included the bride-elect's mother, Teresa Eason of Washington, sisters, Paige Eason of Macon, and Leigh Oxendine and son, Noah, of Augusta; and grandmother, Mary Lee Edenfieldof Baxley; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Maureen Northenor of Warner Robins; and other out-of-town relatives and friends of the couple, Melissa Nail and Hannah of Hazlehurst; Lynette Lightsey and Dana Edenfieldand Alonna, all of Surrency; Katie Nelson of Macon; and Jordan Mochrie of Warner Robins.
