Entrepreneur lunch offers help for new, small businesses

Entrepreneurs and small-business owners are invited to the first Washington-Wilkes Entrepreneur Learning Lunch. Friday, May 2, at Mary Wills Library.

The Learning Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end by 12:30. Lunch will be provided to registered entrepreneurs, organizers said.

A project of the Washington- Wilkes Payroll Development Authority and the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, the lunch is the first in a series of programs designed to help entrepreneurs and small-business people with the challenges they face in starting and running a small business.

The first Entrepreneur Learning Lunch will discuss General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance. The presenter will be Ben Carter, Commercial Lines Underwriter for Southern Trust Insurance Company.
