Greene County Fair to be held next week

It's time for the Greene County Fair and the Union Point Downtown Development Authority and the Greene County Chamber of Commerce invite the public to come out and join the fun in Union Point May 7-10. Rides for the whole family will be on site. The fair will be held at the ball field located just off Universal Drive and Hwy. 278 in Union Point. Paradise Amusements will be presenting the fair rides this year and concessions will also be provided by the Downtown Development Authority of Union Point. "Concessions will be great this year, as we have added BBQ sandwiches to the menu," says Nita Meadows with the Downtown Development Authority. The fair opens each evening at 6 p.m. A portion of the ride proceeds will benefit the Union Point Better Hometown and the Greene County Chamber of Commerce.
