W-W concert bands to present concert Tues. at Toombs House

The Washington-Wilkes Middle School and Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School Concert Bands will present a concert on Tuesday, May 6, on the grounds behind the Robert Toombs Historic Site.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to anyone who would like to attend. Those attending should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

No barbecue supper is planned for this year but there will be drinks and snacks available.

The bands will be directed by Jeff Thomas.
