Claire Giles Crittenden
A celebration of the life of Claire Giles Crittenden, age 5, of Heritage Lane, Easley, S.C., was held Monday, April 28, 2008, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home in Easley. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Rayle, in Wilkes County, Georgia. She died Friday, April 25, at her residence.
Claire was born on March 25, 2003, in Greenville, S.C. She was the daughter of Lewis Maxwell and Suzanne Nuckolls Crittenden. She was a member of Mosaic Community Church.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her brother, Lewis Maxwell Crittenden Jr. of Easley; paternal grandparents, Ann and Wiley Crittenden Jr. of Washington; maternal grandparents, Carole Smith Nuckolls of Piedmont, and Andy and Xiao Li Nuckolls of Parson, Tenn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Mitochondrial Foundation or to the Claire Giles Crittenden Foundation, 2605 Highway 153, Piedmont, S.C. 29673.
