Lance family members gather for luncheon in Greensboro Apr. 20

The Lance family enjoyed a special family gathering on Sunday, April 20, at the Buffet of China in Greensboro.

The event was to celebrate the birthdays of siblings, John Lance, April 23; Guy Lance, April 24; and Chris Lance, April 29.

All seven of the children of the late Boyce and Sara Lance were present and were so thrilled to be together as two, Boyce Lance Jr. and Sara Lance Dees, have dealt with serious health issues in the recent past.

The family enjoyed the delicious buffet and ice cream as they reminisced their childhood growing up on Lundberg Road in Washington.

Present for the celebration were Boyce Lance of White, Chris Lance of Griffin, Clarence and Lynne Lance of Ringgold, Willard and Sue Lance, and Sara Lance Dees of Washington, Guy and Judith Lance of Lexington, and John and Anndrea Lance of Crawfordville. Others attending were children and grandchildren, Curt and Janet Lance, Julia and Nathaniel, of Maxeys, Jamie and Jennifer Atkinson, Meredith and Dehstiny Smith and guests, Hope and Ambria Davis, all of Washington.
