(Use the Spring Street entrance to the church.) ƒ New Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lincolnton, will celebrate its anniversary Sunday, May 18, 3 p.m., with Rev. James McIver and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Rayle as guests. Sunday morning services are cancelled for the day. The following week the church will have a three-night "closet cleaning" revival. ƒ Pole Branch Baptist Church, Tignall, will celebrate its 122nd anniversary Sunday, May 25, 11:15 a.m. Rev. Joe L. Glaze is pastor. ƒ Hilliard Station Baptist Church will celebrate the church's anniversary Sunday, May 18, 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Joe Glaze of Pole Branch Baptist Church, Tignall. Refreshments will be served. ƒ Tignall Baptist Church will have revival services beginning Sunday morning, June 1, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Services will continue through Wednesday. Rev. Charles Drummond will bring the messages and Rev. Andy Perryman will be leading the music. ƒ The next Toasmasters Club meeting will be held at the Mary Willis Library Monday, May 12, 6-7 p.m. Everyone 18 years of age and above is invited to attend. Membership is open and all are welcome. ƒ White Rock Baptist Church, Lincolnton, will honor the pastor, Rev. Seymore Harrison, for two years of service on Sunday, May 25, 3 p.m. Rev. William Blount and the Greater Young Zion Baptist Church of Augusta will be in charge of the services. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will have Women's Day on Sunday, May 18, 11:30 a.m., with Evangelist Agnes Hanson as the speaker. ƒ The Concerned Citizens of Wilkes County will meet Tuesday, May 13, 7 p.m., at the Mary Willis Library. ƒ Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will celebrate its 107th anniversary May 25 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Carter and members of the Green's Grove Baptist Church of Augusta will be the special guests. ƒ Transforming Life Ministries will host a deliverance worship service Saturday, May 31, 6 p.m., at the Third Shiloh Center. Pastor Tonita Cody and the Parks Grove FBH Church of Lincolnton will be the special guests. ƒ The Reese J. Booker Scholarship Committee will have its annual memorial service for Reese J. Booker and Mrs. Rosa Grant Warthen on Sunday, May 25, 6 p.m., at the Marks Tabernacle Baptist Church. This is the annual scholarship fundraising event to help college students. Rev. Matthew Harden and the New Tabernacle Baptist Church and choir are scheduled to be special guests. All churches are invited. ƒ The Wilkes County Board of Registrars will meet Thursday, May 8, 10 a.m., in room 323 of the Wilkes County Courthouse. The public is invited. ƒ The New Saints CME Church, 515 Baltimore Road, Washington, will hold this month"s special SNAP meeting on May 17, 10 a.m. The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation is having sign-up for the Blue and Gold Basketball Camp.
