Woman's Club now taking applications for scholarship

The Washington Woman's Club

Beltone at Master service hearing hearing is accepting applications for the Nettles-Dillard Scholarship.

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually and is aimed primarily for adults who want to upgrade their skills and education.

Applicants must be high school graduates, residents of Wilkes County, and must have been accepted by an accredited college or technical school.

Applications must be submitted by May 23, 2008, to the address listed on the application.

Applications with instructions are available at the Mary Willis Library, Chamber of Commerce, or by contacting club member Jean Steed at 706-678-6920.
