It's Derby Day in Washington

Tiger trumpeter Evan Harrison sounds the Call to the Post for a crowd of elegantly dressed ladies at Saturday's Kentucky Derby Day Party at the Washington Jockey Club. The ladies displayed their chapeaux in the hat contest, and Rita Horton's was judged Most Elegant and Karen Carter's hat Most Creative. The party followed the Classic South Equine Association's Derby Day Horse Parade.
