Local anglers have a chance to fish with pro J. Todd Tucker Always wanted to get fishing tips from a pro? Well, here's your chance! Local fishermen have an opportunity to win a bass fishing trip with professional bass angler, J. Todd Tucker. The raffle is sponsored by the Thomson-McDuffie County Con- vention and Visitors Bureau and will benefit the McDuffie Environmental Education Center. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Thomson- McDuffie County Convention & Visitors Bureau office at the Thomson Depot. You can meet Tucker on July 18 at the Georgia Visitor Information Center in Augusta and on August 2 at the Tom Watson Watermelon Festival in Thomson, where the raffle drawing will take place. J. Todd Tucker, from Moultrie, Georgia, is sponsored by the Clarks Hill Partnership, a five-county region (Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, Wilkes and Warren Counties) that surrounds Clarks Hill Lake. Tucker fishes the FLW and Bassmaster tours and has been featured in Bass Times, Bassmaster Magazine, Georgia Outdoor News, local papers; and on CNN as an expert source, regional TV news spots, "Wayne Pearson's ESPN Ultimate Sports Challenge," "Spectrum Outdoors with Daryle Singletary," "Engles Outdoors," "Quail Unlimited," and in several TV ads.
