Tour of Homes plans announced

Kiwanian Louise Maynard, chairman of the 2009 Spring Tour of Homes committee, was the guest speaker for the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, August 12. Maynard gave the members an in-depth report on plans for the 2009 tour and told them that the event will be expanded to three days including a Friday evening candlelight tour of six bed and breakfast homes, five homes and one loft on Saturday, and seven homes in Danburg on Sunday afternoon. A number of special events are also planned to bring visitors to Washington and Wilkes County. Maynard also distributed the newly printed brochure to members.
