Joseph C. Wheeler

Joseph C. Wheeler of Washington died October 28, 2008, in the Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

He was a native of Dade County, Florida, and the son of the late Lester Irving Wheeler Jr. and Sara Isabel Davis Wheeler. Before becoming disabled, he had worked for an auto parts manufacturing company.

Survivors include a son, Nicholas Lamar Wheeler, Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters, Grace Conly, Washington, and Peggy Kemp, Dunlap, Tennessee; and one brother, James Wheeler of Miami, Fla.

No services are planned at this time.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
