Tigers looking for consistency in play as region competition gets tougher
      In games this week, the Tiger varsity boys basketball team split a pair of region games and won another and Head Coach Don Keiser says he thinks the team has finally hit its stride. After a disappointing loss in their first region encounter of the season, the Tigers bounced back to win two in a row last weekend.

W-W varsity wrestlers 8-11 for season; Middle School team finishes at 5-2
      The Washington-Wilkes wrestling team competed in the Area Dual tournament last weekend at Eagles Landing Christian Academy. The Tigers defeated Towns County 30- 29 before falling to Social Circle and St. Francis. W-W is a very young team this year, but participation is up and the Middle School has enjoyed a successful season.

Fishing regulations now available; online version coming soon
      The new 2009 Georgia Sport Fishing Regulations are now available. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division recently distributed printed versions of the regulations to all Division offices and facilities, a number of State Parks and fishing license retailers statewide.
