First Baptist Church offers Beth Moore women's Bible study
      The First Baptist Church is offering a Beth Moore Bible study, Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman, on Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. and Thursdays from 7-9 p.m., beginning January 14. Each Bible study will consist of two sessions. Workbooks for the sessions are $15 and are available at the church. They will also be available at the first session. Child care will be provided.

Cornelia Johnson Circle of FUMC meets January 6
      The Cornelia Johnson Circle of First United Methodist Church met Tuesday, January 6, in the home of Pauline Bell. Mrs. Bell and co-hostess, Kay Bray, served delicious refreshments to members as they arrived. Laura Toburen presided. She welcomed members and led the opening prayer.
