'Gulleytown' author to sign new book at the Cinema Jan. 24
Newly published local author Terri Lane will sign copies of her book, Gullytown, at Retro Cinema & Books on Saturday, January 24, from 1-5 p.m. and patrons are encouraged to arrive early because only a limited number of copies is available.
Lane was born in Washington and was graduated from Fredrick Douglass High School in 1981. She is the mother of four children and grandmother of four. According to the book's cover material, "she is married to a wonderful man who supports her dreams and aspirations fully. She owns and operates a collection agency. She is the youth choir director at her church (Mark's Tabernacle). She is the president of a ladies' social club called Sisters Teaching Youth Life Enhancing Skills. She is a certified surrogate parent for the Wilkes County School System and stakeholder for children with disabilities."
