Two Wilkes County students have received honors from Brenau University in Gainesville for the fall semester 2008.

April Wheatley of Washington was named to the dean's list for maintaining a 3.6 grade point average while carrying at least 15 semester hours of course work.

Kevin Gebing of Washington was named to the Brenau University Merit List for maintaining a 3.5 grade point average while carrying 12 to 14 semester hours of course work.
