Amanda Price Simpkins John Adam Godfrey Amanda Price Simpkins of Warrenton and John Adam Godfrey of Dearing announce their plans to marry.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Price of Warrenton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Johnson of Warrenton and Mrs. Doris Williford of Wrens.

She is a 2008 graduate of Augusta Technical College of Augusta where she earned a degree in Radiologic Technology and is employed as a radiologic technologist at West Augusta Spine Specialist in Augusta.

Mr. Godfrey is the son of Mrs. Rosemarie Johnson of Washington and John Mark Godfrey of Duncan, S.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Clubb of Washington and Mrs. Cecile Godfrey and the late John Belton Godfrey of Duncan, S.C.

He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Mr. Godfrey is assistant golf course superintendent at West Lake Country Club in Augusta.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, April l8, at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Washington.
