The bride is the daughter of Randall and Lisa Echols of Washington.

The bridegroom is the son of David and Tina Vanhart, also of Washington.

A winter wonderland theme was used in decorating.

Lighting candles were Darrell Standard of Washington, uncle of the bride, and Bill Mills of Augusta.

Michael Vanhart of Washington was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Edwards and Jason Standard, cousins of the bride; Andrew Echols, brother of the bride; and John Echols, all of Washington. Ushers were Darrell Standard and Bill Mills.

Ashley Nichole Edwards of Washington, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor and Sarah Echols of Washington, was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Land, cousin of the bride; Rebekah Echols, aunt of the bride; and Jenny Echols, all of Washington.

All were attired in full-length royal blue gowns and carried bouquets of hydrangeas and calla lilies with rhinestone accents.

Alexis Land, cousin of the bride, and Emily Echols, sister of the bride, both of Washington, served as flower girls. They carried white baskets of white rose petals to complement their white dresses. Tiaras adorned their hair.

Serving as ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Jaxson Edwards of Washington.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her full-length strapless white gown embellished with pearls and rhinestones. The skirt extended to chapel length.

Her double-layered waist-length veil was enhanced with pearls and rhinestone and fell from a circular headpiece of pearls and rhinestones.

She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and hydrangeas enhanced with diamond accents and delicate crystal ornaments.

Of special sentiment was the ring she wore that had belonged to the bridegroom's late great-grandmother.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Echols chose a gray two-piece suit worn with a purple silk shell.

Mrs. Vanhart, the bridegroom's mother, wore a plum-colored dress accented with a silver sash.

Both mothers were presented corsages of calla lilies and touches of hydrangea blossoms on green leaves.

Reception

Following the ceremony the bride's uncle and aunt, Darrell and Dianne Standard of Washington, entertained at a reception in the fellowship hall of Faith World Center as a wedding gift to the couple.

Terrie Smith of Augusta tended the guest register.

Again a winter wonderland theme was used in decorating. Tables were covered in white and held tall glass vases filled with blue and silver ornaments and delicate snowflakes.

The bride and bridegroom sat at a table for two that featured the same decorations on a smaller scale.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres.

The wedding cake was a threelayered butter cream confection topped with two joining hearts. Blue ribbon surrounded the base of each layer. The cake was served by the bride's cousin, Colbi Kinney of Lincolnton.

For traveling the bride wore a white shirt over black slacks.

After a honeymoon at Doubletree Hotel in Augusta, Mr. and Mrs. Vanhart are making their home in Washington.

Rehearsal Dinner

David and Tina Vanhart were hosts at a rehearsal dinner also held in the fellowship hall of Faith World Center to honor Sable Echols and Matthew Vanhart.

The bride-elect chose black slacks and a silver shirt.

Lighted trees enhanced the room also decorated in blue and silver with snowflakes, all creating a winter wonderland setting in keeping with the theme of the wedding décor.

Guests dined on barbecued chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, lima beans and assorted pies for dessert, catered by the brideelect's uncle and aunt, Darrell and Dianne Standard.
