Lindsey Christine Harris marries Roy Andrews III on December 15
Lindsey and Roy Andrews III Lindsey Christine Harris of Tignall and Roy Andrews III of Washington exchanged wedding vows in the presence of family members on Monday, December 15, at the Wilkes County Courthouse. Judge Jim Burton of Washington officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Alexander of Cleveland and Tony Harris of Tignall. She is the granddaughter of Linda and Anderson Standard Jr. and Gloria and Layton Harris, all of Tignall.
The bridegroom is the son of Donna Grey of Pleasantville, Ohio, and the late Roy Andrews Jr. of Augusta. He is the grandson of Gloria and Max Armour of Philomath and Roy Andrews of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Dell Andrews of Washington.
A reception to honor the couple is planned for a later date.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrews are making their home in Tignall.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and attended Piedmont Technical School in Greenwood, S.C. She is currently employed at the Washington Jockey Club in Washington.
The bridegroom attended Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and graduated from Ogeechee Technical School in Statesboro. He also earned degrees in Wildlife Plantation Management and Landscaping. Mr. Andrews is currently employed by Collins Construction Company of Washington.
