TYRECE ASHMORE Tyrece Ashmore has been chosen as a first team member of the All Area football team.

The Augusta Chronicle, WJBF NewsChannel 6, and the Greater Augusta Sports Council recognized the All Area football players in the CSRA in a private event at the Augusta Marriott Hotel and Suites, Thursday, January 22.

Seventy-five players from Georgia, South Carolina, and independent schools were recognized including Ashmore.

Tyrece is a senior at W-WCHS and received the award for his accomplishments as an offensive lineman at WWCHS. Although Tyrece is the only W-W Tiger on the All Area First Team, Larry Raiford and Anthony Smith were members of the second team as offensive lineman and defensive lineman, respectively.

Honorable mention was given to Justin Guin, linebacker; Drew Wilson, defensive lineman; and Eric Scott, running back.
