A Storm Spotter Class for anyone interested in volunteering to be "Skywarn" spotter for the National Weather Service will be held Thursday, March 5, 7 p.m., at the W-WCHS Cafeteria.

Wills Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a two-session seminar for patients suffering with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Asthma or Emphysema. The public is invited to attend February 23, 5 p.m., and February 24, 2 p.m., in the Nash Library of the hospital. The speaker will be Don Parker, Respiratory Therapist at the hospital. Black Rock AME Church, Tignall, will have its annual black history program Sunday, February 15, 11 a.m., with Curtis Williams as speaker.

The Washington Lions Club will have barbecued chicken for sale on Saturday, February 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $7.00 per plate.
