There will be a Gideon speaker at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday, February 15, at 11 a.m. Members, please come and help support the Gideons International. It is a very important organization which sends Bibles to countries all over the world. The speakers always tell interesting stories about their work. .David and Gwen Hopkins of Augusta visited Samille and James Sherrer Thursday morning.

.Wednesday, February 4, was Whitney Branham's birthday. I joined her family that evening for cake and ice cream.

On Thursday she, her dad, mom, and brother Charlie celebrated in Athens with supper at the Olive Garden, then enjoyed an evening of bowling.

.Janet and Scott Blaine joined their new neighbors, Wade and Kim Mayo, and little daughter last Sunday night and enjoyed supper and watching the Super Bowl game with them.

.Pam McCarty joined Stacy and Madison Kay, Pam Pittman, James Williford, and members of his family to celebrate his birthday Wednesday night at LaCabana restaurant.

.James and I attended the breakfast and shower for the H.E.A.R.T. Ministry Saturday at the Georgia Baptist Center in Washington. Every year churches in our Association bring needed supplies for them. They will be delivered to Lavonia next week.

.Amelia Hopkins of Elberton visited Iris Dyson Saturday. .Saturday night, Pam McCarty, and Jack and Angie Strother went to a surprise birthday party for Tammy Gunter held at Elijah Clark State Park.

.Janet and Scott Blaine had supper Friday night with Clay and Nancy Blaine of Dahlonega who spent the weekend at their campsite. On Saturday, Janet and Scott went to visit his mother, Mary Blaine, in Suches. After returning home Sunday they visited Sue Davis.

.How come it takes so little time for a child who is afraid of the dark to become a teenager who wants to stay out all night?
