Funeral services for Martha Mc- Clearen McDaniel, 89, of Clarkston were held Sunday, February 8, 2009, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Floral Hills Memory Garden. She died Wednesday, February 4.

Mrs. McDaniel was a native of Wilkes County and was the widow of Horace E. McDaniel. She had retired as a secretary for Frigidaire Sales/Division of General Motors and was a member of the Clarkston United Methodist Church and most recently of the North Decatur United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley McDaniel of Tucker; and a sister, Mary McClearen of Washington.
