Registration for the spring soccer program at the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department began on February 1 and will continue through Saturday, February 28, for some five age groups of players 5-17 years old.

Both newcomers and experienced players are welcome to participate in the program and tentative age groups are for ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-11, 12-14, and 15-up, if still in school.

"Come out and join the fastest growing sport in Wilkes County," said program director Kevin Smith.
