Woman's Club members plan for Tour of Homes at March 9 meeting

The upcoming Tour of Homes was the topic of conversation at the meeting of the Woman's Club, Monday, March 9, at the clubhouse.

Barbara Roberts, Tour of Homes chairman, and her committee led the discussion of the Tour scheduled for April 3-5. Plans for the luncheon, sponsored by the club, were also discussed. Members signed up for various duties for the weekend event.

Prior to this portion of the program business meeting, Vivian Walker presided and welcomed the 32 members attending. Also present was a guest, two-week-old Kate Johnston, who accompanied her mother, Amy Johnston.

Bunny Gunby gave the devotional, "Flowers of Friendship," led the Pledge to the Flag, and offered the blessing for the luncheon.

Wanda White and Dean Mansfield, hostesses, decorated the clubhouse in a St. Patrick's Day theme using green and white on the mantles and tables. St. Patrick's Day hats centered the tables that were also adorned with Shamrock sprinkles.

Acknowledged to the membership was a note and gift of appreciation sent to the club by the Duggan family in appreciation for the John Duggan Memorial Scholarship Dinner in February.
