Karen Michelle Dunagan David Brett Bufford Mr. and Mrs. Matt King of Oconee County announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Michelle Dunagan, to David Brett Bufford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy (Buddy) Bufford III, also of Oconee County.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dunagan of Oconee County and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne King of Oglethorpe County.

She is a 2007 graduate of Oconee County High School and is presently attending Athens Tech where she is pursuing an early childhood education degree. Miss Dunagan is employed by the Oglethorpe County Board of Education.

Mr. Bufford is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin Bryan of Oconee County and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bufford Jr. of Washington.

He is a 2003 graduate of Oconee County High School and is employed by American Pest Control in Athens.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 2, at 3:30 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville.
