Spring Cruise-In sees perfect weather, good crowds


Saturday night saw a packed Square full of hot cars, music and food as the Memory Lane Cruisers held their Spring Cruise-In in flawless May weather. Crowds enjoyed music from Tommy Landrum's Cruzin' to the Oldies and food from concessions and from restaurants on The Square. The Memory Lane Cruisers car club uses the profits from the Cruise-Ins to donate to various local causes including the Wilkes County EMS, the Washington Fire Department, the Mary Willis Library, and the Wilkes unit of the Salvation Army.
