Heard's Chapel Baptist Church will have a children's day program on Sunday, June 14, 3 p.m. Rev. Demetrius Porter and the New Hope Baptist Church will be in charge of services.

Rev. Glen Kolhagen, pastor of the Washington Presbyterian Church, will be leading a bereavement support group each month in the Nash Library at Wills Memorial Hospital. Time is 1 p.m. The program is practical based and not theologically based. Confidentiality is protected. The next meeting will be Wednesday, June 17. The public is invited.

New Salem Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 15-19, 7:30 p.m. There will be classes for all ages. The theme is "Go Win With Jesus."

Fishing Creek Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 11-12. Supper is at 5:30; Bible School 6-8 p.m.

A reunion of the descendants of the Burden, Jordan, and White families of Elbert, Hart, and Franklin counties will be held August 15, at the Bowman Community Center in Bowman. A covered dish lunch will be served at 12 noon. Peyson Moss, pianist, and Jonathan Johnson, tenor, both students at Mercer University, will present a concert of sacred music at the First Baptist Church, Washington, Sunday, June 28, at 6 p.m. Moss is a former pianist at First Baptist.
