Man survives Metasville Road crash

Washington Rescue personnel and Wilkes EMS and deputies help extricate Dale Wynn, 51, of Wilkes County from his wrecked car after he flipped the car avoiding a deer Monday night. Georgia State Patrol Trooper Patrick Brantley said that after extrication, Wynn was taken to Wills Memorial Hospital but seemed not to be badly injured. The car landed in the yard of Timerling Callaway as she watched. "I heard it skidding, then BOOM it landed in the yard. It scared me half to death." Brantley said Wynn was not cited.
