There is nothing better than the first fresh vegetables. .The hummingbirds have returned. They were here a few days around the last of March, then when the weather turned cold they disappeared. I saw six last week. More will come soon, I think. .James and I and Willard Lance attended the funeral of Bobby Lee Ashmore in Lincolnton Monday.
