Funeral services for Valeria Vaughn Bradley, 83, of Decatur, were held Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington, with Rev. Steve Rayner officiating. Burial was in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery, Rayle. She died Friday, June 5, at Hospice Atlanta.

Mrs. Bradley was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late John C. Vaughn and Lucy Nash Vaughn. She was the widow of Tom Bradley and was a member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church. She had retired as a legal secretary.

Survivors include a son, Samuel Thomas Bradley of Decatur; and a sister, Christine Vaughn Smith of Washington.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
