Rodney and Maria Holloway of Yew Gardens, N.Y., were honored at a baby shower Saturday, May 30, at the home of Gene and Cheryl Edwards on Courtground Road.

Hostesses for the celebration were Kaci Johnson of Augusta, Megan Kennedy and Jade Kennedy of Washington.

Mrs. Holloway was presented a corsage of white daisies tied with blue ribbon.

The party table was centered with a diaper cake accented in blue ribbon that also spelled the initials of the baby-to-be, "LMH".

Punch was enjoyed with delicious party foods.

Approximately 30 family members and close friends attended. Out-of-town guests included his aunt, Margie Greene of Atlanta, and her daughter, Paula Painter of Marietta; Kathy Foster of Sparta and Shea Lindsey of Union Point.

Following the shower Gene and Cheryl Edwards hosted a family cookout in honor of the Holloways' weekend visit.
