Brown family members gather for 11th annual reunion June 6

Graham and Glenda Smith hosted the 11th annual Brown family reunion at their country home, Pearl Oaks, on the Lexington Road Saturday, June 6.

Oak leaf hydrangeas and daisies were used in decorating for the reunion that also included a bountiful covered dish dinner. The family enjoyed the day reminiscing, sharing old pictures and making new ones.

Pearl Oaks is the childhood home of Louise Brown Smith of Tignall and Reba Brown Pounds of Thomson, both of whom were present for the celebration.

Present in addition to the hosts, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Pounds were Marshall, Beth and Benjamin Smith, Mike and Kathy Fitzpatrick and Bruce McClearen of Snellville; Adam and Keighley Smith of Stone Mountain, Morgan Smith of Hiawassee, Harry and Anita Kattegat and Pam Partridge of Grovetown, Mitchell, Joanne, Matthew and Corey Patton of Appling, Peggy Murdock and Henry Pounds of Thomson, David and Angie Bryant of Louisville, Shannon Woods of Augusta, Richard Kimsey of Chapin, S.C., Lindsey Strother of Athens, Charles and Elizabeth Smith of Sandtown, Edith Lindsey, Hannah and Ben Strother and David and Louise McClearen of Washington.
