'Fun' horse show will be held rain or shine on Sat., June 27

The Classic South Equine Association will host a Summer Classic "Fun" Horse Show on Saturday, June 27, at the Star Arena in Crawfordville, rain or shine. All events are open to the public, and spectators are welcome to attend and cheer on all the riders.

The show will be a great opportunity to get out and have some fun with your horses, say organizers who encourage CSEA members, the public, beginner riders, and advanced riders to participate in a wide variety of classes.

Events will include show ring Western and English pleasure as well as timed events for cash, including barrel racing and pole bending. A number of "fun" events will keep things interesting for everyone including children, who can take part in events such as the calf scramble and tot lead line. With over 25 classes scheduled to take place, the Summer Classic will offer something for everyone including spectators.

The Star Arena is located 6.7 miles from Interstate 20, Exit 154, on Ga. Hwy. 47 one mile north of Sharon.

Gates open at 7 a.m., registration begins at 8 a.m., and the show will commence at 9 a.m. Contact Melissa Burden at 706-399-7424 or mburden@southernbandt.com for more information or visit the Classic South Equine Association at www. cshorse.org and click on EVENTS for additional information.
