TO THE EDITOR:

I want to congratulate Ashley Barnett, Director of Tourism, for an outstanding job in planning Washington's participation of the BRAG visit. Ashley was out there all day and into the evening promoting Washington with a big smile on her face and with the kindness that she always illuminates.

At Retro Cinema, we were slammed! Both of our shows were sold out and we had to turn others away. I had several of the bikers comment on how organized Washington was compared to other cities, and that this was their favorite stop. This was a great day for Retro Cinema and I'm sure the other businesses in town.

Washington needs more groups, more often, to keep our economy going and to showcase this fine city. Thanks again to Ashley for a job well done.
