Rev. Dante Smith, pastor of Booker's Chapel Baptist Church, and members of the congregation have announced that they will be going back into their church on Sunday, July 5. The church was damaged in recent severe weather.

"We are very happy and blessed to go back into the church," said the pastor. "Services will begin at 12:30 p.m., and it will be a new beginning for us.

"We are extending an invitation to everyone to attend the services," he continued. "Our appreciation is expressed to those who assisted us in any way. May God's blessing be bestowed upon you."
