Pierce and Joyce Barden joined their children and grandchildren, Greg and Marie Fanning, Austin and Kaeleigh, at Myrtle Beach, S.C., last week. lBill and Teresa Bishop vacationed last week at Panama City Beach, Fla., where they were joined by their children and grandchildren, Michael Bishop of Panama City, Fla., Neil Bishop and Landon of Adairsville. and Jimmy and Stephanie Collum, Neely and Collum, of Rockmart. lPhyllis Scarborough has returned home after a month's visit in Misawa, Japan, with her son and family, Adam and Laura Scarborough, Lawrence, Charla and Joshua. lVisiting during the weekend with Norma Hopkins were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Dennis and Fran Hopkins of Acworth, Kay Sauls and John of Marietta, and Louis and Jennifer Doan, Katherine Rose and Rachel, of Winston-Salem, N.C. During the weekend they celebrated their mother's birthday at dinner at the Washington Jockey Club.
