I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation in making homeownership month a success.

The mission of USDA Rural Development is to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing to residents of rural America. Our mission can only be completed through our continued relationship between contractors, builders, lenders, realtors, and community leaders by providing families with the American Dream.

For millions of individuals and families, the American Dream starts with owning a home. When families move into a home of their own, they gain independence and confidence, and their faith in the future grows. The spread of ownership and the opportunity that it gives our citizens is a vital stake in the future of America and the chance for them to realize the great promise of our country.
