Katie Anderson Chris Wilson JoAnn Neville of Hephzibah, formerly of Washington, and Jeff Anderson of Tignall announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Anderson of Statesboro, to Chris Wilson, also of Statesboro, son of Rev. and Mrs. Chip Wilson of Jasper, formerly of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stephens and the late Clyde Edward Neville of Washington, and Mrs. Kathryn Anderson and the late G. P. "Billy" Anderson of Tignall.

She is a 2003 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School in Washington and is currently a senior at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro majoring in Art History with a Business minor.

Mr. Wilson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Hucks of Huntersville, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson of Atlanta. His honorary grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Smith of St. Simons.

He is a 2002 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a degree in Marketing. Mr. Wilson is currently employed as a Personal Banker at Sea Island Bank in Statesboro.

The wedding is planned for Sunday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island.
