The Wilkes County Community Development Corporation (WCCDC) is hosting a community forum on August 8 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Pope Center, located at 48-B Lexington Avenue.

There will be information regarding resources offered by the WCCDC, upcoming community projects, employment opportunities, housing opportunities, stimulus money through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), heating and energy assistance, and much more.

The forum is free of charge and the publis is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
