Four injured in Highway 78 wreck Sunday

Wilkes County paramedics and firefighters tend to two of the four people injured in a Sunday afternoon wreck on Highway 78 near Newtown Road. Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating the wreck that saw a Saturn sedan and a Chevrolet minivan collide nearly head-on. The unrestrained driver of the Saturn was ejected, and she and her passenger were taken to MCG for treatment. The driver and passenger of the van were transported to Wills Memorial for treatment.
