Funeral services for Julia Anne Hill Norman, 71, of Conyers were held Monday, August 3, 2009, in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home, Covington, with Rev. Reese Sanders and Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment was held Tuesday, August 4, in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington.

Mrs. Norman was a native of DeKalb County and was the daughter of Marion and Julia Jones Hill who survive her. She was a full-time mother and nanny and enjoyed going to church, gardening, and her chickens.

Survivors include her husband, J. Guy Norman III of Conyers; her children and their spouses, Guy IV and Julie Norman, Shawn and Becky Norman Bala, Jeff and Denise Norman, Sam and Marla Norman, Chad and Naomi Norman Crawford; grandchildren, Carla, Sara, and Amanda Norman; Cody, Braxton, Aly, BaileyAnne, and Garrin Bala; Hillary and Clark Norman; Blaise and Samantha Norman; Brittani, Eli, Lyla Grace and Jorja Brooke Crawford; a sister, Doty Proctor of Monticello; and brother, Ray Hill of Madison.

Wheeler Funeral Home and Crematory of Covington was in charge of arrangements.
